Cockroaches… we don’t know what their purpose is here on Earth. Perhaps nothing more than to torment us and to ensure some type of life survives any natural disasters or nuclear holocausts. Whatever their purpose, they are a nuisance and are hard to control on your own. Our treatments effectively control and eliminate cockroaches. Our service is guaranteed, and completely safe around people and pets.
Which cockroaches are most common?
The Oriental Cockroach prefers moist, warm places but tolerates cold temperatures better than other cockroaches. They will lay up to 16 eggs at a time, but tend to only produce 1 generation per year in cooler climates. The eggs typically hatch within 2 months. They live, on average, 1.5 years. The young become adults in 6-12 months. Oriental cockroaches have wings, but cannot fly.
The German Cockroach
spreads much more rapidly than Oriental cockroaches. They become adults in 6-12 weeks and live 6-9 months. They are roughly half the size of oriental cockroaches. They produce large numbers of nymphs in each egg case, and are EXTREMELY difficult to control, in part due to their small size and ability to hide deep within walls and in other locations too small for other cockroaches. German cockroaches add $60 to the initial treatment, and require quarterly services to completely control them.
The American Cockroach
is typically the largest of the cockroaches found in our service areas. They are also one of the fastest insects, and can hide in small spaces in spite of their size. They do not tolerate cold, and are more common in warm climates. They live an average of 1.5 years and become adults in 4-15 months. American cockroaches CAN fly, but because of their slow development cycle, large size, and relatively slow egg cycles, large infestations are uncommon.
